Ravatherm SW A2 Upstand Board
Ravatherm SW A2 Upstand pairs Ravago stonewool insulation slab with a 6mm fibre cement layer and is used vertically as an upstand board in the Inverted Roof finish. It meets the current Approved Document B of the Building Regulations requirement that any attachment to the external walls of relevant buildings above 11m in height must use non-combustible materials in order to be compliant.
Our new Ravatherm SW A2 Upstand board has been tested for Reaction to Fire Classification (according to EN 13501-1) and achieves a Euroclass A2-s1, d0 classification.

Roof Upstand Application
Ravatherm SW A2 Upstand Boards are produced from a 6mm non-combustible cellulose fibre building board, factory laminated to non-combustible stonewool slab. Boards are easy to cut and lightweight to handle, allowing for fast, simple, dry installation. The board offers excellent thermal properties, and can withstand extreme climatic and working conditions. It is the ideal material for roof lining applications, where a non-combustible upstand or parapet insulation board is required to thermally insulate and protect walls in inverted flat roof systems. The standard thickness for roofing applications is 56mm overall.
Fire Safety
With recent developments in building regulations, it is now more important than ever to consider the fire safety standards of both new and established buildings. Ravatherm A2 SW Upstand Boards have been rigorously tested in their reaction to fire and achieve A2 classification in accordance with EN13501-1:2018.
