As a panel fabricator and supplier, we are often approached by customers looking for very specific properties. We introduced Larcore Panels specifically to meet demand from customers in specialist sectors, who are looking for extremely robust, lightweight panels.
What are Larcore Panels?
Larcore Panels are lightweight, rigid and achieve class A2 reaction to fire standard. As a result, they are suitable for a variety of applications including transport, industrial, marine, ships, trains, elevators, buses and aircraft. These panels are non-toxic, recyclable, insulating and energy efficient.
They are manufactured with an aluminium honeycomb core, which is faced with an aluminium skin. The skins are coated with a primer suitable as a finished surface or for further processing, including bonding and colour coating.
These panels are available in standard sheets of 3120 x 1500mm or cut to size in a range of thicknesses from 6mm to 30mm – whilst other thicknesses can be supplied on request.
Fabrication service
For anyone who wants a complete fabrication service, we can offer Larcore panels cut to size and CNC machined using one of our 3 & 5 axis routers. Our in-house CAD department can utilise customers own CAD drawings to help create specific details for your given application.
We also supply the panels from stock at our factory in Sheffield, which can be delivered throughout the UK and beyond. If technical information is required, we can supply this and data sheets for the Larcore Panel range, which can be downloaded here.
