This is why we have invested in state of the art CNC machines that are capable of cutting and machining various materials including Solid Grade Laminate (SGL), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plastics, Perspex, Extruded Polystyrene (Styrofoam), Aluminium Honeycomb, ThermHex polypropylene, External Cladding Boards and Timber Sheet Materials.
Our skilled Sales and CAD/CAM team is also on hand to bring your ideas and designs to life, and can advise on specific cutting details, suitable materials and capabilities. For example, if a client is looking to manufacture indoor and outdoor furniture, such as café tables and picnic benches, we would recommend Solid Grade Laminate (SGL), which is also ideal for washroom cubicles and laboratory furniture. This is because SGL is extremely hard wearing, offers a high level of water resistance and its thickness means that it can withstand impact, cracking, scratching and other damage.
The extensive capabilities of our CNC Machining and Cutting division, with its 3 and 5 axis CNC equipment, means that all of these materials can be delivered cut, shaped into the most accurate and complex patterns required and routed with superior precision and speed.
The CMC division also includes 3D capability, enabling us to re-create virtually any shape or design, including etched logos or images, cut at optimum speed with the minimum of waste.
Our team can also provide a tailored design service for standard and bespoke panels or customers can supply their own drawings in a variety of file formats including .dwg, .dxf and Solidworks.
